Kurdology
The special program "Kurdology" within the framework of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies is devoted to the comprehensive study of the Kurdish people, their history, culture, politics and socio-economic development. The main purpose of the program is to explore the role of the Kurds in the modern world, their political movements, cultural heritage and relations with neighboring peoples and states throughout history and at the present time.
The program includes open and closed discussions with the participation of leading experts in the field of Kurdology, international relations, anthropology and history. An important part of the activity is the preparation of analytical materials aimed at understanding the Kurdish issue in the context of regional and global processes. Special attention is paid to building contacts with international experts, Kurdish organizations and research centers, which allows us to form relevant scientific and practical approaches to the study of the Kurdish people and their role in modern political and social processes.
